Join Glen Stanosz for an insightful discussion on how changing weather patterns are affecting the health of trees in our yards, parks, and forests. In recent years, weather has seemed increasingly unpredictable, with conditions that are too hot, too cold, too wet, or too dry. Learn how these weather extremes can contribute to tree diseases and impact the economic, recreational, and aesthetic value trees provide. Gain a deeper understanding of the connections between weather, climate, and tree health, and how these changes are shaping our landscapes.
Glen Stanosz is a Wisconsin native and the Emeritus Professor of Tree and Forest Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He studied the biology and management of tree diseases caused by fungi, and is a Fellow of the American Phytopathological Society. Glen is an award-winning teacher with students including not just university undergraduates, but also professionals in forestry and the green industry.
