2026 Conference for Young Adult Literature Louisiana

CYALL is an annual in-person conference for educators and librarians hosted by LSU Shreveport in November highlighting how YA stories can spark engagement, deepen critical thinking, and meaningfully connect with today’s students. Expect lively presentations, fresh ideas, and practical takeaways on how you can reimagine curriculum, bridge theory and practice, and bring YA literature and media to life. The conference is a mixed model approach that equally showcases practical application and presentation along side papers that focus on research and inquiry.
