The 2026 Community Health Fair & Resource Event is a free, family-friendly community event. Hosted in partnership between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Sickle Cell Coalition of Maryland, it’s designed to increase access to health services, offer educational workshops, and address health disparities in the community.

• Get free health screenings: blood pressure, cholesterol, women’s health, and sickle cell trait testing
• Participate in interactive wellness workshops, including nutrition and healthy cooking classes
• Connect directly with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations
• Learn more about sickle cell disease, preventive care, and family resources
• Take steps to improve your health, pick up practical tips, and engage with your community

This event is open to everyone, with a special focus on:

• Families impacted by sickle cell disease
• Seniors and aging adults
• Underinsured and uninsured residents
• Individuals living with or at risk for chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and kidney disease
• Teenagers & young adults looking for service opportunities
