Join our Climate Cafe at the Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) to discuss everything related to the climate crisis (including how it makes you feel).

Approximately 40% of adults worldwide report experiencing climate-related anxiety or stress, with higher rates among younger generations (60% in ages 16–25) (GlobeScan 2025, Lancet Planetary Health). In the midst of escalating disasters and uncertainty, we urgently need spaces to navigate our climate emotions and translate them into action. This is not just about information. It’s about transformation. It’s about building the emotional resilience needed to face these challenges while staying grounded, hopeful, and engaged. There is a powerful connection between individual wellbeing and collective action. When you stabilize your emotional state, you stabilize your capacity to act.
