2026 Civil Liability Update: Use of Force & More

The South Bay Police Training Committee is proud to host this one day civil liability update seminar. The seminar will be presented by Attorney Missy O’Linn and focuses on use of force and training related issues.

Attorney O’Linn is an Equity Partner with Manning & Kass and is a recipient of the 2015 California POST Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement Training and the 2025 POLAC Lifetime Achievement Award. Her presentation draws on her experience as a peace officer, law enforcement trainer and 40 years as an attorney representing law enforcement agencies in high risk cases. Missy provides training designed to prepare officers to testify and pro-active measures to curb the negative and costly aftermath of critical incidents.
