10 Years. One Community. One Culture. One Unforgettable Celebration.
For the past 10 years, the Chicano Art Festival & Lowrider Show has been more than an event.
It has been a place where our stories are told, our artists are celebrated, our families come together, and our culture is honored with pride.
This year, we celebrate our 10th Anniversary.
There have been moments when we didn't know how we would get here. Like many grassroots organizations, we've faced challenges. But every time we've needed our community, you've shown up.
Because of the incredible support from Paradise Car Club and so many sponsors, volunteers, artists, vendors, community partners, and supporters, we are getting closer to reaching our fundraising goal.
And we will make it.
We are committed to making sure the 10th Anniversary Chicano Art Festival & Lowrider Show shows up in a big way.
And it will.
This milestone belongs to every person who has attended, volunteered, donated, shared a post, entered a car, performed on stage, sold their artwork, danced, or simply believed that our culture deserves to be celebrated.
This year, we are also asking our community to help us recognize the people who built this culture.
Lowrider Legend nominations are now open.
Who is the person who mentored generations?
Who preserved the culture?
Who spent countless hours in the garage teaching young people, building community, and leading with heart instead of recognition?
Nominate them.
We are also incredibly proud to recognize the Lowrider Ladies of Kansas City, honoring the women whose passion, artistry, leadership, and dedication have helped shape and preserve the lowrider community.
Join us for a full day of culture and celebration featuring:
• Incredible lowriders and custom builds
• Chicano and Latino artists
• Local vendors and small businesses
• Delicious food and drinks
• Live bands
• Folklórico dancers
• Family activities
• Community pride
