2026 Cape Fear Native Plant Festival: Native Garden Tour

Join us for one of the most beloved events of the Cape Fear Native Plant Festival — the Native Garden Tour! Explore a self-guided collection of native plant landscapes throughout New Hanover County and discover how native plants can transform ordinary yards into vibrant, wildlife-friendly habitats. Many of this year's featured properties are recognized through the Nature at Home Program, which celebrates sustainable landscaping practices and wildlife-friendly habitats across New Hanover County.

N.C. Cooperative Extension Master Gardener volunteers of New Hanover County will be stationed at each property. Whether you're new to native gardening or looking to expand your plant palette, this self-guided tour offers inspiration at every stop.

Tickets are $10 per person. Ticket sales are limited — purchase early to secure your spot!

All tickets are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather, the tour will be canceled and ticketholders will be notified by email.
