2026 Brand Protection Strategy Summit

Over the course of our summit, day sessions will be open to sectors of the brand protection community and will include interactive discussions through panels, hot topic sessions, high top talks, and strategy sessions that will focus on the four strategic themes of the A-CAPP Center:

• Technology, Policy, & E-Commerce Impacts of Counterfeiting
• Global Enforcement & Impacts of Counterfeiting
• Consumer Behavior & Impacts Around Counterfeits
• Current & Future Brand Protection Workforce

We will also award the 2025 A-CAPP Center BP Hero during our Summit and are accepting for this award until December 1, 2025.

LODGING: The Dearborn Inn, Autograph Collection, is the primary hotel for our 2026 Summit events. A special rate has been secured until March 3, 2026. Space is limited and attendees are urged to book now.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Purpose of the Summit: The A-CAPP Center Brand Protection Strategy Summit is an event hosted for the benefit of its brand owning partners and limits participation of vendors, service providers, lawyers, and/or consultants. Non-brand owners may only attend the summit on the days permitted and shall not solicit any sales during the event in any manner.

We ask that you participate in the Summit sessions and activities and refrain from holding outside meetings. Anyone hosting outside meetings must notify the A-CAPP Center in advance.

View and Opinions of Speakers: The views and opinions of speakers and participants at summit events do not necessarily reflect those of Michigan State University, the A-CAPP Center, its Industry Advisory Board and BP Councils including member companies, or summit sponsors, and should not be used for endorsement, advertising purposes, or as legal advice.

Contact Information: By registering for the summit, attendees acknowledge that their contact information may be included in the conference materials provided to all attendees, as well as the Center’s internal contact lists. By attending the Summit, attendees acknowledge that their image may be captured and used in research, educational and public service programs.

Registration: Conference registrations are to be paid for in full at the time of registration. Registration is tier based on sector type. Registrations in violation of the registration categories above, their registration will be cancelled, and fees paid will be refunded according to the refund policy.

The Center Director has discretion for all issues related to registration & attendance.

Fees for brand owners is $1,175.00; law firms, technology providers, service providers, e-commerce providers, & investigators (any other private sector organizations) is $1,375.00; independent consultants and associations is $550; and government, law enforcement or academic organization is $350.00.

There are early bird discounts available through December 1, 2025.

A $150 late fee will apply for any registrations occuring between March 2 - March 8, 2026.

A $250 late fee will apply for any registraitons occuring between March 9 - March 12, 2026.

Refunds:

At the A-CAPP Center, we are committed to delivering a high-quality, impactful Summit experience for all participants. As a small, nonprofit organization, we rely on accurate registration numbers to make critical financial and logistical commitments well in advance of the event—including venue, catering, materials, and speaker arrangements.

For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds for Summit registrations. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and while we cannot issue refunds, we do allow registrations to be transferred to a colleague at no additional cost up to 5 days before the event.

We appreciate your understanding and support, which allows us to continue offering valuable programming and resources to the brand protection community.
