About this Event
The Annual Spring Conference is an opportunity for law students, attorneys, and local community leaders to engage in critical discussions.
This year's conference is titled, "Beyond the Classroom: Education, Justice, and Systematic Change."The conference will focus on addressing the critical barriers to education, the history of education within the Black diaspora, and the systemic inequities that continue to disproportionately impact Black communities in Boston and beyond. We will bring together leaders, policymakers, educators, advocates, and community members to engage in a meaningful dialogue about the environment surrounding education in the Black community as well as the longstanding barriers that continue to affect this space.
Through this conference we hope to raise awareness about the barriers to education in the Black community, emphasize the importance of the education system, and explore actionable solutions and initiatives that can help make the classroom a more equitable system for educators and students alike.
Panelists and speakers will be added as they are confirmed.
