2026 Blokart East Coast Championships

Hello Blokart sailors!
FYI, based on feedback regarding the upcoming event at Loring this fall, we successfully got LDA/venue approval and moved the dates for the ECC regatta from OCT back into SEP 16-20. We hope you can make it!
We'll be publishing a NOR very soon with the schedule, registration info, etc. We will once again be having a GOLD fleet for more experienced racers as well as a SILVER fleet for those just starting out or learning the sailing angles etc. Depending on number of karts registered, we'll have weight divisions within the two fleets. As always, sailors are welcome to register as recreational and come and just sail the venue without racing too.
While there will not be an Octoberfest event on the Saturday of this event this year, the local Spud Speedway has their annual "Dust Bowl" going on FRI/SAT/SUN so you and/or family traveling with you might have fun watching some of that action (demo derby, etc. https://spudspeedway.com/schedule/).
And thanks to BB being onsite there at Loring, he successfully got us a new base hangar (that he personally cleaned out) at the SW corner of the airfield called the DC hangar which is huge and we can sail right into it and store our karts there overnight. We were just there last week using the DC hangar and it's great. We'll have portable toilets there and camping is permitted (must be 100% self-contained (no water/waste/electric)).
More to follow with a NOR, but I wanted to get this in your calendars!
Some Kiwi's are considering coming all the way from NZ to this event so we're hopeful we can get a great turnout to give them some competition as they are ALL good sailors!
Any questions, feel free to reach out by email or phone.
