2026 Bioblitz at the WILD Center!

Join us for this family fun event - all ages welcome - free event!

After an introduction to the bioblitz activities. We will work in small groups and teach you how to find and identify bird, insect, plants and other species!

This is a global event that encourages communities to explore nature right where they live and contribute to the planet by documenting urban biodiversity. Participants record observations of plants, insects, birds, and other animals. Findings will be uploaded to iNaturalist for science. We are participating in collaboration with the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust.

We’ll have some tools available, including nets and magnifiers, but participants are encouraged to bring their own mud boots, nets, and binoculars.
