The 17th Annual Bike the Bridges | Bands & Brews returns in support of Special Olympics Northern California. This year, we’re kicking it up a gear and aiming for 1,000 riders to join our iconic community fundraiser ride, capped by the rocking Bands & Brews afterparty at Waterfront Park in Martinez.
Come be a part of an epic day of biking, bridges, bravery and brews. With four different routes ranging from 25 miles to 100K, there’s a Bike the Bridges ride for you.
Ride. Rock. Raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics NorCal. Don’t miss your opportunity to cross bridges — and build some, too.
THE RIDE
Riders can select one of four distances, each boasting scenic views along the routes. Register before June 30 and take advantage of the early registration discount! Fees increase on July1st.
25-mi ride – $95
50K (31 mi) ride – $100
50 mile - $115
100K (62 mi) – $120
All riders will receive a Bike the Bridges T-shirt, BBQ lunch and a commemorative pint glass and 2 tickets for 16 ounce pours at the Bands & Brews.
PEDAL THE EXTRA MILE
We encourage all participants to go the extra mile and raise additional funds for our athletes. Reach out to family, friends and colleagues and ask them to support your online fundraising efforts. Raise a minimum of $300 and you'll receive a long-sleeve dri-fit T-shirt. Raise a minimum of $400 and you'll earn a commemorative Bike the Bridges bike jersey. The incentive levels include your registration fee and are cumulative. So the more you raise, the more you earn and the more our athletes benefit!
BANDS & BREWS
After the ride, our riders will kick back with their friends and fellow cyclists to enjoy Bands & Brews and the public is invited. Bands & Brews will feature favorite local breweries providing their latest craft beers to sample, live entertainment, food trucks and activities for the kids! There is something for the entire family so grab your beach chairs and sunscreen and come have a good time.
