2026 Australia Day Fireworks and Concert

Join us at The Rooty Hill for Blacktown City’s premier Australia Day celebration! Grab your family and friends for a jam-packed afternoon of live music, free amusement rides, and delicious food, all topped off with the best fireworks display in Western Sydney.

This year's concert features a stellar lineup headlined by ARIA award-winning rocker Diesel, with supporting performances by pop legends Taxiride, rugby league fan-favorites Eric Grothe & The Gurus, and soul/pop group The Kamis.

Food & Facilities:

Food Stalls: A wide variety of international cuisines, carnival snacks, and dessert trucks.

Licensed Event: This is a licensed event with a designated bar area. Strictly no BYO alcohol.

What to Bring: Picnics, rugs, and low-seated chairs are welcome. Marquees and umbrellas are permitted only in designated areas on the sides of the hill.

Pet Friendly: Pets are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.

Transport & Access:

Parking: Limited on-site parking is available via Eastern Road. Overflow parking is located at Blacktown International Sports Park.

Public Transport: Attendees are strongly encouraged to use public transport. The event site is a short walk from Rooty Hill Station.

Accessibility: Limited accessible parking is available on-site. Accessible toilets are located at the top and bottom of the hill. Please note the event site is on a steep incline.
