2026 Art Ball

For 69 years, Art Ball has been the Miami Valley’s premier social event and the longest-running fundraiser for Dayton Art Institute. This annual black-tie function is held each second Saturday in June and attended by more than 600 community and corporate leaders, top museum supporters, and community patrons, and raises critical funds towards the museum’s mission of bringing art to all. The evening begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, specialty drinks, interactive mission-focused activities, followed by an elegant sit-down dinner and post-dinner live music and dancing, all enjoyed throughout the museum’s event spaces.
Art Ball is one of two signature events hosted by the DAI’s Associate Board, a group of 35 duos who volunteer for four-year terms to help execute the museum’s two largest fundraisers. This year’s Ball will be chaired by Myla Cardona-Jones and Alan Cardona, and co-chaired by Emilee and Chris Ambrose.
