Curious about Shibari? Whether you're brand new to rope or looking to refine your fundamentals, this workshop is the perfect place to start. Bound to Begin is a hands-on, beginner friendly introduction to the art of shibari (rope bondage) focusing on safety, connection and technique.

You'll learn essential knots, foundational ties, and how to move with intention in your rope practice.

Each session will cover one key knot or tie, allowing you to build confidence and skill at a steady pace.

Expect a welcoming, inclusive space where all bodies, identities, and experienced levels are respected. Whether you come solo or with a partner, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of rope as an art form and a tool for connection.

What You'll Learn:

• Rope safety & negotiation basics
• Fundamental knots & ties (one per session)
• Body awarerness & tension control
• Tips for building flow & confidence in your practice

What to Bring :

• Comfortable clothing that allows movement
• At least one (1) Rope (Nylon, Hemp, or Jute)- Recommended 30ft 6mm - Rope available for sale (while supplies last)
• Safety Shears
• Yoga Mat (recommended)
• A partner is not required.
