Course Description
This three-day in-person course is for athletic trainers, biomechanists, physical therapists, sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiologists, strength and conditioning coaches, certified personal trainers and others who work with athletes in baseball.

Physicians - In Person - $595.00
All Others - In Person - $495.00

Course Cancellation
ASMI reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course. In the unlikely event that ASMI must cancel or postpone a course, the registration fee will be fully refunded. ASMI is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses, including fees assessed by airline, travel or lodging agencies.
Refund Policy
Course registration cancellations submitted in writing by the registrant 14 days or more before the course start date are eligible for a full refund (minus 20% of the registration fee). Refunds requested less than 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund (minus 25% of the registration fee). The refund will be issued in the same form of payment used to make the registration.
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to:
- Integrate functional anatomy with examination, treatment and rehabilitation of the baseball elbow
- Describe current advances in biomechanics and treatment of UCL injuries
- Discuss current advances in the rehabilitation of injuries to the throwing shoulder
- Identify and discuss current trends associated with strength training and conditioning in baseball
- Integrate anatomy and biomechanics with examination, treatment and rehabilitation of the baseball shoulder
- Describe current advances in managing shoulder injuries
- Discuss current medical treatments for adolescent athletes
- Identify and discuss current rehabilittion techniques relevant to today's athlete
- Provide examples of current concepts in the treatment and rehabilitation of lower extremity injuries
- Apply biomechanics to injury prevention and performance enhancement

American Sports Medicine Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
BOC
The American Sports Medicine Institute (BOC AP# P400) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs).
