The Just for Kids Golf Tournament is BACK! ⛳
After more than 10 years, we're excited to bring back a community favorite—the Just for Kids Golf Tournament!
If you grew up in the area, chances are you remember competing to see just how far your marshmallow could fly in the Longest Drive Challenge, playing in the tournament with friends, or cheering someone on from the sidelines. Now it's time for a new generation to make those same memories!
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬
📅 Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2026
⏰ Tee Times: Begin at 9:00 AM (challenge stations are open throughout the event)
📍 Location: Fon du Lac Golf Course
123 Par 3 Lane, East Peoria, IL 61611
💲 Cost: $40 per participant (pre-registration required)
𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Ages 5–7: 6-hole tournament
Ages 8–10: 9-hole tournament
Ages 11–13: 9-hole tournament
Each participant will receive:
Event t-shirt
Goodie bag
Participation medal
Access to all challenge stations

When registering, you'll select a preferred 30-minute tee time window. Exact tee times will be emailed approximately one week before the tournament, allowing you to choose a time that works best for your family's schedule.

Putting Challenge – Closest to the hole (best of 3 attempts)
Chipping Challenge – Closest to the hole (best of 3 attempts)
Marshmallow Longest Drive – See how far you can launch a marshmallow!
Challenge champions in each event will receive a prize basket!
Challenge stations are included with tournament registration and are open to the public for $1 per challenge. No pre-registration is required for the challenges.

Our friends from Fun on the Run will be joining us with golf-themed games and activities for everyone to enjoy throughout the event!
Feeling hungry? Big Papa Jake's and Katie Pop will also be on-site with delicious food and refreshing drinks available for purchase.
