🎬 New for 2026 - $500 Cash Prize for the Septi Award winning film! 🎥This year’s Kickoff will be on Friday, April 24, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 pm and close at 7:15 pm.
Spokane’s most exciting timed film competition is kicking off and we want YOU to be part of it! Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or trying your hand at making videos for the first time, The 50 Hour Slam Film Festival is open to ALL creatives. Past Slams have had a mix of participants that ranged from middle school students to experienced industry pros, and everything in-between. This is your chance to test your skills, collaborate with fellow creatives, and see your work on the big screen!
How It Works:
• Teams have 50 hours to create an original 3-6 minute video project
• Submissions will be judged by a panel of professionals from the Spokane’s Arts community
• The finalists’ films will be screened at our public showcase, where the audience will get a chance to vote for their favorite
• Plus, an online voting competition runs after the screening, with the winner announced 30 days later
The Kickoff will be held at the KSPS Studio at 3911 S Regal St, Spokane, WA 99223.
