Are you joining us this fall at Iowa Central Community College? We’re excited to welcome you to campus! Our First-Year Orientation Days are a great opportunity to get to know Iowa Central, meet fellow students and staff, and feel confident heading into your first semester.
Each session begins at 9:00 a.m. with registration in the Triton Café. The morning will feature 45-minute informational sessions designed to help both students and families learn more about campus resources, student support services, and college life at Iowa Central.
Starting at 11:30 a.m., lunch and campus open houses will provide time to connect with departments including Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Admissions, the Bookstore, Housing, Student Activities, TRIO, iJAG, and more. Staff from Athletics and Music & Theater will also be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to answer questions and share opportunities. Campus tours will be offered throughout this time.
*Career & Technical Program Students:
Students enrolled in Automotive Collision, Automotive Technology, or Diesel Technology are encouraged to attend Tool Day on July 10th, also from & 11:00-4:00 p.m. in the Career Education Building. Representatives from Snap-On will be on-site to showcase tools and offer student discounts. It’s vital that financial aid be finalized before attending Tool Day. If you're unable to attend, please contact our Snap-On Account manager, Mandy, at: [email protected] for information.
While orientation is not required, it is strongly encouraged to help ensure a smooth and successful transition into your first year at Iowa Central.
