When the 2025 WonderCon programming schedule is announced, a specified time will be announced for Saturday, March 29.This Marvel fan photo gathering will tentatively take place at the South Terrace steps (large outside area facing the Marriott) where it has traditionally taken place. If weather becomes an issue, it will be moved indoors to one of the WonderCon photo backdrops.
For security and safety per Comic-con International (WonderCon's show organizer) and the Anaheim Convention Center, please adhere to the following when attending this photo gathering:
- Everyone present for any picture taking must have their WonderCon badge with them. When taking the group pictures, cosplayers can hide their credentials.
- There is to be NO equipment set up like tri-pods and lighting. Any photography is to be hand held.
- Any convention attendee present is to adhere to the instructions of fire fighters, law enforcement and/or security, should any such enforcement staff be present along with Comic-con International staff.
Whether you're a costume participant, photographer or just an onlooker, you will need convention credentials (WonderCon show badge) for this event.

Code of Conduct
Attendees must respect common-sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. WonderCon reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the membership and badge of any attendee not in compliance with this policy. Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately locate the nearest member of security or staff member so that the matter can be handled in an expeditious manner.
Prop Weapon's Policy
No functional weapons are allowed at WonderCon Anaheim. Simulated or costume weapons are allowed as a part of your costume, subject to prior approval by security and compliance with the following:
All costume weapons must be inspected at one of the Costume Props Check Desks.
- All costume weapons must conform to state and federal law.
- Projectile costume weapons must be rendered inoperable.
- Functional (real) arrows must have their tips removed and be bundled and zip-tied to a quiver.
- Costume swords must be tied to your costume in such a way that they can’t be drawn.
- After each person’s costume weapon has been checked, it will be tagged by security, and you will be given a wristband to wear to designate that your weapons have been checked.
- Security will escort you to the security station for inspection if your costume weapon is not tagged.
If you do not want to have your costume weapons inspected or tagged, or if you are not willing to comply with these policies, please do not bring your costume weapons to WonderCon Anaheim.
