Join us for the 2025 Witches Paddle on Sunday, October 19, from 12 pm to 2 pm at Wickford Harbor. This annual event invites witches, goblins, ghouls, and their costumed pets to paddle around the harbor in support of the North Kingstown Food Pantry. Participants can bring their own kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, or pedal kayaks. The event features a costume contest with categories including Best Witch, Best Warlock, Best Dressed Pet, and Most Creative/Original, with winners receiving exciting prizes. Registration is required with a $25 fee per paddler, all proceeds benefiting the North Kingstown Food Pantry. Registration closes the night before the event. Spectators can view the parade from the Wickford Town Dock across from The Kayak Centre. For those not participating in the paddle, donations and limited edition Witches Paddle T-Shirts are available for purchase. Please note, this is a BYO-boat event; no rentals will be available. All paddlers must wear a PFD as required by Rhode Island law and dress appropriately for chilly air and water temperatures. More information and details will be released as we get closer to the event.
