The Wichita Friendly is confirmed for January 2025!
Friday, January 30th, 7pm-10:30pm
Saturday, January 31st, 10am-9pm
We are planning to have 6 teams this year, with teams and players from across the Midwest. Confirming final teams and will announce soon!
General Hockey Agenda:
- Friday 7p-10:30p: Round Robin
- Saturday 10a-9p: Sigle-Elim Tournament
Each team will have between 10-15 skaters and a goalie, captains discretion.
Round Robin: On Friday night, each team will play five 15min run time mini-games. Each team will face every other team once. Seeding for the bracket is based on total goal differential over the 5 mini games (not wins, or record, just goals!).
Bracket Tournament: 6 team single elimination bracket, including a 3rd place game and a consolation game.
Cost: We do not take any profit from this tournament. Cost for ice, refs, etc is totaled and divided evenly across 4 teams. Cost per team is going to be roughly $1,500, still confirming. Cost per skater will depend on the amount of skaters on each roster (eg. 15 person roster will be $100 per skater). Each team is guaranteed 3-5 games over 2 days.
