The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Awards®. The awards will be presented at the annual Wayne County ATHENA Celebration on Tuesday, November 18, at White Oak Event Center in Orrville.The ATHENA Leadership Award® honors an exemplary leader who has achieved professional excellence, contributed meaningfully to the community, and—most importantly—has actively assisted women in realizing their full leadership potential.
The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award® recognizes an emerging leader who embodies the ATHENA mission of supporting, developing, and honoring women leaders, inspiring women to reach their highest potential, and creating balance in leadership worldwide.
This year’s recipients are:
ATHENA Leadership Award®: Jessica Franklin
Jessica Franklin serves as Director of Clinical Operations at the Viola Startzman Clinic in Wooster, where she oversees all clinical staff and services. Her leadership and dedication have made a significant impact on both the organization and the community.
ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award®: Lexi Nussbaum
Lexi Nussbaum is the founder of Power Pose Nutrition, based in Orrville. As a passionate health and hormone coach, she is dedicated to helping women achieve wellness and confidence through nutrition and education. Lexi has been a mentor with OHuddle for six years and currently serves on a non-profit board in the community.
Founded in 1982, ATHENA International is a global women’s leadership organization that has honored more than 7,000 leaders in hundreds of communities across eight countries. The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve as a licensed ATHENA host organization. Nominations were sought from across Wayne County, with recipients selected by a diverse panel of community leaders.
The community is invited to celebrate these outstanding women at the ATHENA Awards Dinner, featuring a cocktail reception, dinner, and recognition program.

Kathi Bond Memorial Scholarship, formerly Wayne County Women’s Network Scholarship
We are honored to share that the Wayne County Women’s Network Scholarship has been renamed the Kathi Bond Memorial Scholarship. This meaningful scholarship will continue to be awarded each year at the Wayne County ATHENA Awards.
The Kathi Bond Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to help a Wayne County woman pursue her professional goals—whether through a certification, degree, or continuing education.
This scholarship is made possible thanks to the support of the Women’s Network monthly events and our dedicated community of supporters. It remains an important part of the Women’s Network mission to empower and uplift women in our community.
The scholarship will be awarded at the 2025 Wayne County ATHENA Awards Program on November 18th. Deadline to apply is October 20th. For an application and more information, please email: [email protected]
