Many people’s introduction to AFSP comes through the Out of the Darkness Walks, taking place in cities nationwide. In our Community, Campus and Overnight Walks, those affected by suicide – and those who support them – raise awareness and much-needed funds, strongly sending the message that suicide can be prevented, and that no one is alone.We're excited to share the date for the 2025 Volusia County Community Walk. This year we will return to Kenneth W. Parker Amphitheater for the walk on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the opening ceremony for the walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.
