2025 University of Southern California Food Day

The University of Southern California (USC) Institute for Food System Equity is hosting an inaugural 2025 USC Food Day. The purpose of this event is to bring together local researchers and leaders from the community, government, and private sectors, to find new opportunities to work together to address complex food challenges. These challenges span topics from personalized nutrition and food is medicine, to community food programs, food waste and recovery, resilient food supply chains, and food policy.

Who should attend? Because we have capacity to host 80 people at this event, it is by invitation only.

In-person vs. Remote: The event is in-person; there will not be a remote component.

Will good food be provided? Yes, a healthy and sustainable light lunch and refreshments will be provided from 12:30-1:15.
