2025 UH Alumni Life Member Event

We are pleased to invite you to the UH Alumni Life Member Event on Friday, April 25 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel, Pikake Room. This annual event includes breakfast, university updates from featured speakers, and an inside look at a current UH entrepreneur’s cohort journey.

Registration is $30 a person and will include breakfast and parking.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

The program features remarks from UHAA Board President Amy Hennessey (BA '96, UH Mānoa) and UH President Wendy Hensel, who will share insights on her journey and progress as the university’s new leader.
Then, learn more about the impactful work of the Wahiawā Value-Added Product Development Center (WVAPDC) from Leeward Community College Chancellor Carlos Peñaloza.
Finally, attendees will meet WVAPDC Cohort participant Poni Askew of Hawaiian Vinegar Co. Poni is a Native Hawaiian entrepreneur born and raised in Wahiawa, Oʻahu. Through Hawaiian Vinegar & Spice Co., she’s on a mission to turn local abundance - and food waste - into delicious, sustainable solutions.
