 Why We Honor Lincoln
This year’s Trunk or Treat is held in loving memory of Lincoln Charles Menne (August 14, 2018 — August 21, 2024). Lincoln was a bright, joyful little boy whose life was tragically cut short after being struck by a car a little over 1 year ago. Lincoln's smile, energy, and love continue to inspire everyone who knew him.
In his memory, we come together not only to celebrate community and the joy of childhood but also to remind ourselves of the importance of keeping kids and families SAFE. By creating safe spaces for children to laugh, play, and make memories, we honor Lincoln’s life in the most meaningful way — with love, care, and community.
