This year’s run-bike race for kids ages 3-12 will take place on Saturday, September 13, at the Ada Eagle Bike Park.

This annual event, put on for the last 9 years by Ada County Development Services, celebrates community, health, and the beautiful trails and open spaces that make up Ada County.
Last year, we renamed the event to honor fallen Ada County Sheriff’s Deputy Tobin Bolter, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on April 21, 2024. Deputy Bolter was just 27 years old, with seven years of dedicated law enforcement service. He lived every day with purpose, treating others with respect and kindness, and his memory remains an inspiration to those who knew and loved him.
In recognition of his lifelong passion for running and athletics, the kids’ duathlon was renamed, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire young athletes.
