2025 The Princess Project Silicon Valley VOLUNTEERS for Dress Giveaways!

Registration is a TWO-STEP process.

1) All volunteers must register through this site (Eventbrite).

Once registered you will receive an email that will contain your ticket. The email will also contain the link to complete the waiver in case you have not had a chance to complete one through the link below.

2) ALL volunteers MUST COMPLETE a waiver.

The waiver can be accessed and completed using the following link. To access the waiver in Spanish, open the link and click the 'English' button to change it to ‘Spanish’:

What to expect:

• You will be on your feet and moving the entire time, so we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and clothing. Temperatures may vary so plan accordingly.

• Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your volunteer session to allow for check in, orientation and questions.

• Temperatures may vary so plan accordingly.

• Personal shoppers will be directly interacting with our students, lifting and carrying dresses. All while assisting students with selecting that perfect dress! Other volunteer options include assisting students with selecting an accessory to match their dress.

• Parking is free! Although we would greatly appreciate if you would park along the adjacent streets. We share half of the parking lot with a pizza restaurant so parking for PPSV is limited to half of the lot.

• Please limit your belongings to items you can carry with you since we do not have a secure place for personal belongings.

• To prevent any damage to the dresses, we do not allow food or drinks (except water) in the dress area.

• Please be considerate of any jewelry you wear, so that it will not catch or snag the dresses.

• For faster check in please ensure that you have completed the waiver, and if you do not have your ticket, we can check you in by name.

• Dress giveaways are ALL ABOUT THE TEENS we serve. We expect volunteers to be considerate of their demeanor. Please smile, be polite, encouraging and supportive. It is not our role to judge students on any level - dress color, style, fit - but you may suggest!

• We have a beautiful photo backdrop where you and other volunteers can strike a pose and take as many photos as you like! Although we DO NOT allow cell phones or photos while inside the dressing rooms. We also ask volunteers to refrain from taking photos of our teen guests without direct permission from a PPSV board volunteer.
