This is our second annual Teachers Conference. The theme of the conference weekend is "A Time of Refreshing". When we go on a beach vacation our intention is to rest, relax, soak up some sun and waves and let this time of relaxation rejuvenate us!
This year we are pleased to welcome Dr. Mark Gainey, pastor at FBC Fultondale and Christian Townson, Alumni Relations Director with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Roof Top Worship.
Roof Top Worship will be with us on Friday night and Saturday morning to get us energized, pumped up and in the right spirit for the three sessions in the conference.
As we are in the middle of summer, the Fall brings with it a lot of promise. One place there is a lot of promise is in your Life Group. As a facilitator, you have those under your care that you pour into each week, and this is after you have spent time in prayer and preparation for Sunday. As your pour into others, you need to have time where others pour into you and that is what this weekend is for!
Our time together will be spent around the dinner and breakfast table sharing in a meal together, spent in a time of worship and in sessions with Mark and Christian. We will talk about Discipleship, Evangelism, and Outreach and how we can use these in our groups, both in class and outside of class. You will be encouraged and uplifted during this "weekend getaway". You will be rejuvenated! You will be provided with resources that are meant to aid you as you prepare for the Fall and the promise that a new church year brings.
Registration is free! But you do need to register for the conference so we can prepare material, food and snacks for everyone. Looking forward to a great weekend with you! The conference will be Friday night from 6-8:30pm and Saturday, from 8am - 12 noon.
