This year we’re thrilled to feature the dazzling talents of Ellen Toscano, a Bay Area singer and performer whose soaring vocals and playful stage presence will keep spirits high from dock to deck. Returning once again are musicians from Royal Jelly Jive, bringing their unforgettable mix of swing, soul, and swagger that transforms a sailing adventure into a celebration.
Adventure seekers take note: as you explore the ship, follow secret treasure map quests, uncover messages in bottles, and unlock chests brimming with one-of-a-kind items and memorable experiences — each a way to explore Marine Conservation Institute’s work protecting the ocean’s greatest treasures.

Tall Ship Sailing Adventure & Fundraiser for Marine Conservation Institute
Saturday, October 18
Check-in: 2:00-2:45pm at gate to pier in front of Bay Model Visitor Center. (Come early and explore the Bay Model before departure.)
Call of the Sea, 2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA
Safety Briefing: 2:45pm
Depart from pier: 3:00pm sharp, returning at 6:00pm
Location & Parking
Tall ship Matthew Turner is docked at the US Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model Visitor Center at 2100 Bridgeway in Sausalito, CA. There is free parking at the Bay Model parking lot accessed via Marinship Way. If the lot is full, spillover parking is available on Bridgeway (non metered all day spots).
What to Bring
Dress in layers: a windbreaker, warm base layer, sunglasses, and comfortable shoes. No high heels are permitted to minimize risk for injury. It might get chilly if the wind picks up or when the sun begins to set. Consider bringing gloves, a hat, a scarf, or anything to stay comfortable out on deck.
There is no fancy dress code for this event considering we will be on deck of a 132 foot long brigantine sailing ship.
Come prepared to help out the ship's crew, hauling lines and raising the sails.
