The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department offers a variety of opportunities for summer employment in the following areas: youth recreation programs, parks, golf-course, cemetery and forestry Maintenance and aquatics.
Applicants must be 16 years of age for most positions. Applicants must be 18 years of age for maintenance positions. The exception is lifeguards who must have a current Lifeguard Training Certificate or be willing to obtain one.
If you are interested in employment for this coming summer, applications can be completed online at www.aberdeen.sd.us/parksandrec or picked up at the Parks and Recreation office at 225 3rd Ave SE. Please return applications to the Parks and Recreation office. Interviews will begin mid-March.
