Share’s Walk for Remembrance & Hope takes place in October, which is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The event commemorates the lives of babies lost due to miscarriage, stillbirth and infant death.
Our 10th annual Decatur community walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11 beginning in the Nelson Park Pavilion #2. Registration and activities start at 9 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10 a.m.

This walk along the lake shore will include a memorial service to remember our babies (each child’s name will be read), and also to celebrate each life, no matter how long or short.
As we gather together to walk in honor of our babies, we keep memories alive and offer support to one another. Whether a recent loss, or one that occurred several years ago, we encourage parents and loved ones to come walk the steps our babies will never take.
