2025 Severe Weather Awareness Training (Virtual Instruction)

Since our local storm spotter class was canceled this year, the NWS added 4 virtual events for people to attend. I will be hosting an in-person event during one of the virtual events for those who don't want to register or would like to attend the training in-person. It will be Tuesday April 15th starting at 6:00pm in the basement of the Cottonwood County Law Enforcement Center.
Keep in mind the instructor from the NWS will be virtual, but if you have questions during or after the presentation I will be available to answer them if the virtual instructor does not take questions. I was a Skywarn instructor about 10 years ago so I do have some experience with weather spotting.
I realize this may not be ideal, but I wanted to try it this year since we do have the technology to bring in virtual instruction.
