Come and join the 2025 Sasquatch Festival ART CONTEST!!!! SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 29TH!!!We are accepting all art mediums. Photography, painting, sculpture, etc. We would like to see things that are themed around nature/The Shawnee National Forest. Bonus points if Squatch is in it or if it's of a Southern Illinois Landmark.
This year all of the art will be on display at the Harrisburg City Hall building in the City Council Room. This room will be open on the day of the Sasquatch Festival (October 4th) for viewing and awards will happen at 2pm. Then we will have a closing/pick up reception on January 17th
We have prizes for 7 categories:
Kids (0-12) $100
Teen (13-18) $200
Photography - $350
Traditional Art $350
Squatch Art (art with Sasquatch in it) $350
Best of Show $500
Each winner will also receive a “squatchie” trophy
Mayors Choice - Receives a plaque
Art will be scored by the ARTSCO Board members and then category sponsors will choose the winner from the top 3 scorers in each category.

Purchase One or Two Sasquatch Art Contest Submissions. Once the purchase is complete, you will receive an email with the link to submit your information and work.
There is a limit of two submissions. Submissions do not guarantee you will be selected for the show.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 29TH
We will notify those who’s art is accepted in to the show by SEPTEMBER 10th. Art will need to be delivered in person NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 15TH. We will coordinate art drop off's with each person.
The show will run October 1st through January 17th.
