Join us on Friday, November 28th, 2025, for the 3rd Annual Rosko's Black Friday 1K, benefitting Family Promise of Lycoming County!It's a Rosko's Holiday Tradition - the Friday after Thanksgiving we get together for an extremely exhausting, strenuous, and just simply unfair 1 kilometer race.... that's right 1 whole K, or 0.65 miles. To be fair, most of us are "Just Here for the Beer." You can run it, you can walk it, you can skip it, you can do it backwards - we don't care, just do it!
We get it, you're sore from your big bad Thanksgiving Day turkey trot. You're maybe a little hungover and feeling bad about yourself after downing a mountain of mashed potatoes and gravy yesterday. But that shouldn't stop you, why? Because it's Black Friday, you're getting out of work early (if you even have work). You might do some shopping for deals later. However, FIRST you must complete a daunting 1K with all of your buddies... and what's that? You can bring your beer with you for the walk? Unbelievable!
Best of all, all of the proceeds from sponsorships and registration go directly to Family Promise of Lycoming County, which helps feed and shelter homeless families to get them back on their feet after hard times. After a day of thanks, make it a day a giving to those who truly need it.

Tickets are $30 and include (1) free beer, (1) race t-shirt (if registered before Nov 14), and raffle tickets for prizes. Children who cannot fit into adult sized t-shirts are free (approx. 12 y.o. and under).
Awards will be given to fastest racer, slowest racer, and best costume.
Don't forget to sign up for the free "Sixth Street Sprint." A 40-or-so yard dash, just for fun. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and we will have separate groups by age.
Food from our brother-dearest, John Ryan Brewery will be available for this event! Zac Baggett will be back to MC!
