2025 Rose & Shamrock Festival - Solo Piping Competition

This Eventbrite link is for pipers to sign up for the EUSPBA-sanctioned solo piping competition at the 2025 Rose and Shamrock Festival. This event will be held as an in-person, live amateur solo piping competition event and will be held on February 8, 2025.

January 23, 2025 (11:59 PM) - Deadline to register for events. Note: This is a Thursday evening.

Location: The Celtic Center of Lancaster, 1285 Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.

This is the same location and format as the 2024 contest. Please note that many of the other events associated with the Rose and Shamrock will not be held at the same location. The Irish Dance competition will be held at another event across town.

Also note that we are reducing the number of events offered due to limited space available at the venue. We are restricting the events to the core events (Piobaireachd, 2/4 March and Strathspey & Reel (or MSR for Grade 1)). We may add other events depending on allowable time after registration is closed.

This event will be sanctioned by the EUSBPA (pending). All EUSBPA rules and regulations apply. Visit www.euspba.org for more information.

All competitors must be registered with the EUSPBA or other recognized Pipe Band Association.

By registering to compete in the contest, you agree that you will attend and perform at your own risk. You will hold harmless all volunteers, judges, the facility (The Celtic Center of Lancaster), the organizers (The Piobaireachd Society of Central Pennsylvania), and the sanctioning organization (The Eastern United States Pipe Band Association).
