Please join us for the 4th Annual River Rock Run 5K being brought to you by the BRRAlliance (Black Rock Riverside Alliance)! We are excited to announce that we are hosting our race on Friday September 19, 2025. We will once again be using our USATF certified course and will provide professional RFID timing and finish line services with the help of Race Management Solutions!
Like in 2024, this year's River Rock Run is a sunset run with a start time set to take advantage of the spectacular autumn sunsets over the Niagara River. Come join us at the 5K with the best waterfront view in the City of Buffalo!
Stick around after the run to enjoy an afterparty with free food and drinks in a beautiful Olmsted park!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. River Rock Run t-shirts will be guaranteed to all participants who register by September 10, 2025. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. Packet pickup will take place inside the park from 5:00pm right up until the start of the race at 6:00pm.
5K Registration Fee: $30 / $35 on race day
Virtual 5K Registration Fee: $35 includes shipping of t-shirt - Continental USA
Virtual Registration Option
Can't make the race... Participate virtually! Simply sign up for the Virtual Race option and you get to choose the location and time to get out on your own and run/walk your 5K between 9/1/25 and 10/31/25. Feel free to use the FREE IYR Virtual App to track and score your run. You will also be able to manually enter your finish time directly to the IYR Results Page starting on 9/1/25 and ending on 10/31/25. We will automatically mail out your event shirt the week after the race (Continental USA only for shipping).
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers. Participants will receive finisher medals and age group winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male & female) will be announced and presented with custom decals to go on the back of their medals. All runners can print custom certificates and view finish line photos from the results page after the race.
Age categories will be 5 and under(stroller division), 6-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
