Pickle lovers unite — it’s finally here! We’re celebrating National Pickle Day and beyond with TWO full days of briny, crunchy, sour, and spicy fun at Primal Brewing Company. This is more than just a party… it’s the beginning of what we hope will become a signature annual event in Abilene!
What’s Happening:
Friday, November 14th - National Pickle Day
5:00pm - ROLLIN' WOODFIRED PIZZA FOOD TRUCK
Yes, they’re bringing the legendary pickle pizza!
6:30pm - PICKLE EATING CONTEST
Winner receives a custom championship Primal Mug and a free one-year membership to the Primal Mug Club
8:30pm - PICKLE JUICE CHUG-OFF
It's just a pint of pickle juice. Easy, right? Fastest chugger receives a custom, championship Primal Mug and a $50 gift card to Primal
8:45pm - PICKLE FEST TRIVIA NIGHT
The Primal Trivia Night you know and love with a pickle twist! Open to everyone and free to play
Saturday, November 15th - Pickle Fest Continues
12:00pm - VENDOR FAIR
Local and non-local artisans, food sellers and growers, artists, and other pickle (or semi-pickle) related product makers setup and show off what they have to offer!
3:00pm - PICKLE COMPETITION
Home pickle makers & pro picklers: bring your best jar! The winner’s pickles will be featured in a special collaboration keg of our award-winning What’s the Big Dill? pickle beer.

PRIMAL PICKLE HUNT
A scavenger hunt for Primal Pickles in and around partnering local businesses. Find a hidden Primal Pickle, bring it in to claim your prize! (Even if Primal Pickle Fest is already over)

We’re looking for pickle makers, local artisans, food vendors, musicians, artists, other Abilene businesses, and anyone else that wants to get involved to help us turn Pickle Fest into a community tradition. If you’ve got something pickle-y (or just awesome) to share, we want YOU here. Please complete the vendor sign up sheet on our website:
