Special Olympics is a global sports movement that unleashes the human spirit every day around the world through the transformative power and joy of sport. Through programming in sports, health, education, and community building, Special Olympics is tackling the inactivity, stigma, isolation, and injustice that people with intellectual disabilities (ID) face. The work goes far beyond sports events, driving social change that enables full social participation for people with ID. The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is proud to partner with Special Olympics Georgia in raising money for this great cause.Polar Plunge
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office hosts various events during the year to help raise money, such as the Polar Plunge. The 2025 Polar Plunge will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Rountree Recreation. There are two ways to raise money for Special Olympics:
1) Participate in the Polar Plunge! Sign Up Here. The cost for each participant is $35. The first 200 participants ro register will receive a special towel.
2) Donate! Donations are always accepted and every bit raised goes directly to Special Olympics. You can also Donate by Clicking Here.
We certainly appreciate the community's support, but also that of Paulding Public Safety Appreciation, Inc. who has helped us by collecting all money as they are a registered non-profit organization.

Plunge Starts: 9:00 A.M.
