2025 OFLTA Fall Conference

We are excited to welcome you to the OFLTA Fall Conference at the University of Central Oklahoma. Our Keynote speaker is Donna Tatum-Johns, former French teacher, presenter, and current French-language content creator for the Comprehensible Classroom. The Call for Proposals is OPEN now until Sunday, August 24th. ONE session will be voted on as Best of Oklahoma and will represent OFLTA at the SWCOLT Conference February 19-21 in Denver, Colorado. OFLTA provides a small stipend to cover the costs of travel to Denver. To submit a session click .

Registration this year includes membership for the 2025-2026 school year (August 1 - July 31). Members are eligible to vote during conference business meetings, serve on the OFLTA board, and have access to our awards.

We will announce the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year during our Business Meeting. The nomination period for the 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year will open at the conclusion of the Fall Conference. To nominate a member for this award please visit our website Awards.

Anyone who is attending, presenting, or exhibiting at the Fall Conference MUST have registered on Eventbrite with one of our ticket options. See the FAQ below to determine which ticket is best for you.

If you are registering multiple people, please use the ATTENDING person's email address so that this person receives essential conference information. It would be best to register them one at a time. Our board is seeking a Vice-President to begin their term at the Fall Conference (voting will take place during the business meeting). If you are interested in running for Vice-President please email us at [email protected]. You can also make nominations during the time allotted during the business meeting.

OFLTA is seeking a Recording Secretary. This is a 2-year committment beginning May 2026 and ending May 2028. If you are interested in running for Recording Secretary (voting will take place at the 2026 Spring Conference) please reach out to us at [email protected].

OFLTA is seeking an Interim Recording Secretary. This is a seven month committment beginning in August 2025 and ending at the conclusion of the Spring Conference. If you are interested in serving please contact us at [email protected].
