The Newport Beer Run—formerly the Craft Brew Races—returns to Fort Adams State Park on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Join us for a fun, timed 5K road race and an unforgettable craft beer festival inside Fort Adams's walls. We’ve got some great local and national beers on tap to greet you at the finish line! Or, skip the run and head straight for the festival with a festival-only ticket. Your ticket includes samples from more than 40 local craft breweries, featuring Rhode Island's best, plus food vendors, live music, and more, all INSIDE historic Fort Adams.
Beer festival-only and Designated Driver tickets are also available. This is a strictly 21+ event—minors, including babies in carriers or strollers, will not be admitted. We love pets, too, but sorry, no pets at this event!
