2025 ND Governor's Awards for the Arts

The event will begin with a social in the Northern Lights Atrium at 5:00pm, which includes live jazz music, light appetizers, and a cash bar. The awards ceremony will start at 6:30pm in the Russell Reid Auditorium.

Congratulation to the 2025 Award Recipients:

• Individual Achievement: Marie Snavely (Bowman)
• Nonprofit Arts Organization: Arts for Vets (Grand Forks)
• Nonprofit Arts Organization: Minot Symphony Orchestra
• For-Profit Arts Organization: Indigenized Behavioral Healing (Belcourt)
• Arts in Education: Bismarck State College Theatre
• Individual Cultural Heritage: D. Joyce Kitson (Bismarck)
• Champion for the Arts: Ijjo John Stephen (Grand Forks)

Award recipients are chosen for their efforts to expand arts opportunities to new audiences, create an appreciation for North Dakota's cultural heritage, make the arts more central to education and an integral part of community life, as well as the length of service within the state.

This is a free event with limited capacity. Registration is required. You can get more than one ticket per submission but please enter the names of all attendees.
