On September 23, 2025, at the High Point Elk Lodge 1155, we will come together to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our combat female veterans. These remarkable women have shown unparalleled courage, resilience, and dedication in their service to our communities and country.
Event Highlights:
- Keynote Speaker and Award Recipient: Be inspired by Jocelyn Mitnaul Malette, an Air Force Veteran, and the Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Also serving as the Chair of the Advisory Board of Southeast Raleigh YMCA, and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Junior League of Raleigh. She will share her compelling story and journey to gain insights into the vital role of recognizing and supporting our female veterans.
- Honorable Speaker: Guilford County Commissioner Carlvena Foster will enlighten us on the significance of acknowledging the sacrifices and accomplishments of these Sheroes.
