2025 National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) Event

The National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is a nationwide campaign held throughout the month of October that raises awareness about disability employment issues and celebrates the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities, past and present. Not only does it recognize the contributions of people with disabilities, this event also recognizes employers or businesses who employ people with disabilities.

The 2025 NDEAM Event will be held at the Best Western Ramkota and offers a half day of educational and inspiring sessions, and includes lunch. For only $75 you can attend any or all of the offered opportunities on the schedule. Sponsorship for a table of 8 is $500.

NDEAM Luncheon with speaker is Sioux Falls Resident Parker Hansen. Born without his left hand, life’s journey started as an uphill climb for Parker. His physical disability may have been apparent, but life threw him other curveballs that he battled behind the scenes. He never let his disability define him and he overcame life’s obstacles to achieve his dream of playing professional baseball. Now his dream is to share his story to give back and motivate others that there is no obstacle that you can’t overcome with the right mindset.
