The MSAND Research Interest Group is hosting the annual student research symposium on the *2nd of October 2025* online via zoom 5:30PM-7:30PM AWST. The symposium is a chance to present any research you have been involved in (whether during your medical degree or prior) with the chance to win some excellent prizes! This event will also include students from Notre Dame Sydney with the opportunity to listen to clinician-scientists from both sides of the country.There are three categories to enter:
- Open submission: (5 mins or less) presentation of ANY research e.g. in progress, completed in previous degrees, previously presented
- Visual abstract: (5 mins or less) one slide presentation on research paper of student's choice (welcome to use JAR presentation)
- 3 minute thesis: presentation of 4th year students’ final project (for 4th years only)
There will be a virtual-door prize, category prizes and peoples' choice prizes.
The best 3-minute thesis will be selected by research staff to present at the Australia and New Zealand Medical Dean's Research Educator Network Symposium.
