Scheduling Office Visits with Your Legislator
We recommend that you schedule a specific time for office visits with legislators in advance. A quick phone call or email to your legislator's office makes it easier to reserve a time to speak with him/her. Follow the links below to look up your state legislators and make your appointment to visit them during Advocacy Day.
Senate and House of Representatives
Regional Lunches
Many communities coordinate lunches with their area legislators. We will share information about those lunches with open attendance as it becomes available, so please check back here for current schedules.
Regional Bus Shuttles
We'll post more information about regional bus shuttles to Advocacy Day as we know about them, so please check back here for updates. If you are organizing group transportation, please let us know so we can help spread the word.
Parking
Be sure to plan extra time in your schedule for parking as downtown Jefferson City is a busy place at this time of year. You can find a map of available public parking lots and metered streets here. We recommend carpooling whenever possible.
