Hosted by Aurora Mayor Richard C. Irvin and the Consul General of China in Chicago Wang Baodong, the City of Aurora celebrates Lunar New Year 2025 at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

On this New Year’s Eve, we will experience the beauty of Lunar New Year traditions and honor Aurora’s vibrant Chinese and Asian American community as we celebrate the Year of the Snake.

Join us for Lion Dances, Dragon Dances, cultural performances, and a celebration of Asian American residents and businesses.
