Hello everybody, We are excited to announce the Holiday White Elephant Doubles tournament coming to AMF Rocklin Lanes!
The tournament takes place on Sunday, December 28th, 2025. Check in opens at Noon, bowl at 1:00pm. The tournament is a handicap doubles format. Entry is $60.00 per person ($120.00 per team)
Here's how it works:
Build Your Team:
- Doubles teams must consist of 1 player under age 40 and 1 player over age 40
- The team average cap is 440
- Players entering average is based on their highest composite league average (winter + summer) of the last 2 season bowled
Tournament Format:
- Lane condition: 43 foot house shot (different from AMF Rocklin house shot)
- Teams will bowl 6 games of qualifying, consisting of 3 games of traditional doubles and 3 games of Baker doubles.
- Handicap is 90% of 220 with a max of 54 pins per person (160 average)
- After the qualifying round, the top 8 team scores advance to the playoffs and are guaranteed to cash
- For each playoff round, the matchups & lane assignments are determined by a random draw!
- Playoff matches are 2 game Baker-style, based on total pins.
- With 24 teams, 1st place will pay $600.00 guaranteed. After 24 teams, the tournament will pay a 1:3 ratio
