The Frankenmuth Farmers Market is bringing back the cherished, traditional Christkindl Markt, a classic German Christmas market, for one exclusive weekend. The event will kick off Black Friday Weekend, November 28-30, 2025, at Frankenmuth's Heritage Park outside of the Harvey Kern Community Pavilion. Under new board leadership, the market has been completely curated based on community feedback, aiming to provide a warm, cozy, and high-quality start to the holiday shopping season.The annual Christkindl Markt is an expansion of the Frankenmuth Farmers Market's core mission to serve as a community hub for local commerce. While the FFM hosts its seasonal farmers and artisans’ market from June through October, the Christkindl Markt extends this focus into the holiday season, offering a traditional European shopping experience that celebrates regional talent.
This year’s event will take place over the Black Friday Weekend. The Board has sifted through over a hundred applications, and hand picked vendors with community feedback in mind. These artisans will be selling unique holiday gifts, handcrafted goods, and a variety of seasonal treats, including woodwork, food and drink, fresh baked goods, unique gifts and traditional German fare. The Christkindl Markt provides a perfect opportunity for locals and tourists alike to support area artisans and small businesses before the major holiday rush.
The 2025 Christkindl Markt is the first major event organized under the guidance of the market's new board. The new leadership is dedicated to ensuring the FFM remains a strong community asset and a vibrant home for local producers.
